Florist Assistant

As a Florist Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the lead florist in creating and arranging floral designs for various events and occasions. You will also be responsible for maintaining the inventory of flowers and supplies, as well as helping with customer service. This is a full-time position with a salary of $900 per month. We are looking for hardworking individuals who are passionate about floral design and willing to learn. Previous experience is not required, but a love for flowers and plants is a must.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead florist in creating and arranging floral designs for events such as weddings, parties, and funerals
- Maintain inventory of flowers and supplies
- Help with customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and providing recommendations
- Prepare flowers for arrangements by cutting stems, removing thorns, and conditioning the blooms
- Clean and maintain work area to ensure a safe and organized environment
- Assist with deliveries to event venues or customers' homes
- Learn about different types of flowers, their care instructions, and how to create different arrangements

Requirements:
- Passion for floral design and knowledge of different types of flowers is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
- Must be physically fit to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 25lbs)
- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings when needed
