Contract Accountant
Location: Karachi, Pakistan
A reputable company in Karachi is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. As a Contract Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for the company
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely payment of bills
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
- Monitor budgets and cash flow to ensure financial stability
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or ACCA preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant in a corporate setting
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficient in using accounting software (Quickbooks, SAP, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
