Excavator Operator


We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Atlanta. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment to excavate, grade and move earth. Your main goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment, while meeting project deadlines and maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators in a safe and efficient manner, following all safety protocols
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and other technical documents
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment before starting work
- Dig trenches, load and unload materials, and move earth as per project requirements
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management immediately

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or in a similar role
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures for operating heavy equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as plans, blueprints, etc.
- Physical stamina to work long hours in varying weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this position.
