Female Librarian in Faisalabad, Pakistan

We are hiring a Female Librarian to join our library team in Faisalabad, Pakistan. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and maintaining the organization of the library. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a library setting and be knowledgeable about different types of literature.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection and ensure it is organized and easily accessible
- Assist patrons with research and reference inquiries
- Recommend new materials for acquisition based on community interests and needs
- Create engaging displays to promote reading and library services
- Maintain accurate records of library materials, including checkouts, returns, and overdue items
- Train and supervise library assistants or volunteers
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in literature and technology to enhance the library's services

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Strong knowledge of different types of literature and reference sources
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to assist patrons from diverse backgrounds
- Organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and organizing materials
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
