Job Title: Executive Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Executive Chef to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu creation, food preparation, and staff management. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for food and the ability to lead and inspire a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and develop new menus that reflect culinary trends and meet customer preferences
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring high quality standards and adherence to safety regulations
- Manage inventory and control costs to maintain profitability
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other kitchen personnel
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events or promotions
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of international cuisine and cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff
- Strong understanding of food cost control measures
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Indian nationality preferred
- Must be able to relocate to Muscat, Oman
Salary:
$1600 per month
