Smelter Operator


We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Smelter Operator to join our team in Mombasa. As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining smelting equipment to melt and refine metals, such as iron, copper, or aluminum.

Responsibilities:
- Operate smelting equipment and monitor the smelting process to ensure efficient and safe production
- Adjust controls and regulate temperatures to maintain desired metal quality
- Monitor and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the smelting process
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Record production data and report any issues or concerns to management

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working as a Smelter Operator or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of smelting processes and equipment operation
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have own visa/permit to work in Mombasa
- Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)

Working Conditions:
This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment. The work schedule may vary based on production needs, including weekends and holidays. This job does not include accommodation.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.
