We are searching for a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandiser to join our team in Funchal. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be able to work independently. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating attractive visual displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring that products are displayed correctly. Additionally, you will collaborate with sales teams to determine product placement strategies and analyze sales data to make informed decisions. This is a contract position with a salary of $1600 per month. Accommodation and visa sponsorship are not provided.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks

Responsibilities:
- Create visually appealing displays in accordance with company standards
- Stock shelves and rotate products as needed
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop effective product placement strategies
- Analyze sales data and make recommendations for product placement and inventory levels
- Maintain accurate inventory records and track product movement
- Monitor competitor activity and report findings
- Build relationships with store managers/owners to ensure optimal product placement
- Communicate any issues or concerns related to product availability or display
