Crane Operator

We are hiring a reliable and skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Lom. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy objects at construction sites, ports, and other industrial locations. Your main duty will be to safely and efficiently operate the crane according to work orders and safety regulations.

To excel in this role, you must have previous experience operating cranes and hold a valid license or certification. You should also have strong spatial awareness, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work well under pressure. In addition, you must be physically fit as the job requires you to stand for long periods of time and may involve heavy lifting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes such as mobile cranes, tower cranes, or overhead cranes according to work orders and safety regulations
- Inspect equipment before each use and report any malfunctions or damages
- Set up and position crane for lifting operations
- Use hand signals or radios to communicate with ground workers during lifting operations
- Safely maneuver loads using crane controls
- Perform routine maintenance on the crane as needed
- Complete necessary paperwork such as daily logs and maintenance reports
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid crane operator license or certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating cranes in a similar environment (construction sites, ports, etc.)
- Good spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Must have accommodation in Lom (preferably provided by employer)
- Biometric passport preferred but not required
