Instrument Technician



We are a leading company in the oil and gas industry, based in Ajman, seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments and control systems used in our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain various instruments such as sensors, transmitters, controllers, and analyzers
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions using technical manuals and diagnostic tools
- Perform preventive maintenance on instruments to ensure optimal performance
- Develop and maintain documentation for instrument maintenance procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operation of control systems
- Keep up-to-date with new technology and industry developments related to instrumentation
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site

Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in instrumentation is preferred
- Demonstrated experience working as an Instrument Technician preferably in the oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles and equipment such as PLCs, DCSs, RTUs, etc.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with various measurement techniques (pressure, temperature, flow)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi or Malayalam is a plus

Salary & Benefits:
This is a contract position offering a salary of 1400$ per month. In addition to salary compensation, we also provide accommodation and visa sponsorship for non-local candidates.
