Smelter Operator
Location: Pula, Croatia


A smelter operator is responsible for operating and maintaining a furnace used for melting metal ore, such as iron or copper, into liquid form. As a smelter operator in our company, you will work in a physically demanding environment and be responsible for monitoring the machinery, adjusting the temperature and flow of materials, and ensuring the quality of the molten metal produced. You will also be expected to troubleshoot any equipment issues that may arise and perform routine maintenance tasks.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working in a smelting plant
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:
- Monitor furnace temperature, pressure, and flow of materials to ensure optimal production
- Adjust controls as needed to maintain proper levels
- Perform regular checks on equipment and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Keep detailed records of production data and equipment maintenance
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times

Salary:
The salary for this position starts at 1100$ per month, with potential for increase based on performance. We offer opportunities for advancement within our company as well as benefits such as health insurance.

Location:
This position is located in Pula, Croatia. We are looking for candidates who are already living in Pula or are willing to relocate.
