Dishwasher for Busy Restaurant in Funchal

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dishwasher to join our team at a busy restaurant in Funchal. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and equipment used in food preparation and service.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a dishwasher in a fast-paced restaurant environment. They must be able to work efficiently and quickly to keep up with the demands of the kitchen. Attention to detail is crucial, as well as the ability to follow instructions and maintain proper hygiene standards.

As a dishwasher, you will be expected to work full-time hours with occasional evening and weekend shifts. This is an urgent job opportunity, so we require someone who can start immediately.

Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans and other kitchen items by hand or using industrial dishwashing equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area
- Properly store clean dishes and utensils
- Empty trash bins regularly
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a dishwasher in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
