Experienced Metal Worker

A metalworking company in Akron is seeking an experienced Metal Worker to join our team. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal structures and equipment. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal parts and structures using various tools such as welding equipment, grinders, saws, and drills
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications
- Measure and mark dimensions for cutting and shaping metals
- Operate machines such as shears, presses, and rollers to cut and shape metal according to specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality control
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Metal Worker in a manufacturing or construction setting
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Skilled in using various tools such as welding equipment, grinders, saws, and drills
- Ability to accurately measure dimensions and work with precise specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to metalworking
- Biometric passport (preferred but not required)
- Must be able to work without accommodation
