Welder


We are currently hiring for the position of Welder in Braga, Portugal. As a Welder, you will be responsible for joining metal parts together to create structures and products. This is a contract job with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout and welding process
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)
- Clean, prepare and set up welding materials and equipment
- Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with specifications
- Repair damaged or broken parts using welding techniques
- Monitor inventory levels of welding supplies and request orders when necessary
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role preferred but not required
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Knowledge of different welding techniques, materials, tools, and equipment
- Attention to detail with strong hand-eye coordination
- Physical stamina and strength to work in various positions for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills
- Valid work visa for Portugal
