Instrument Technician

We are currently hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Faro. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various types of instruments used in our operations. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer specifications and maintain accurate records of calibration activities
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of instruments and identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working with electrical equipment in hazardous environments
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruptions to operations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required; technical diploma or certification in instrumentation preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician in a similar industry
- Proficient in troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating various types of instruments
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
