English Language Teacher



We are currently seeking a qualified English Language Teacher to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As an English Language Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students of different ages and levels the fundamentals of the English language. This is a part-time position with a salary of $1200.

Responsibilities:
- Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate a variety of teaching techniques to meet the needs of students
- Provide instruction in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and reading comprehension
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed
- Develop and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Prior experience teaching English as a foreign language preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively engage with students of all ages
- Patient, creative, and adaptable teaching style
- Knowledge of different teaching methods and techniques
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other teachers
- Valid work permit/visa (for non-Kenyan applicants)
