Entry-Level Mason in Almada, Portugal


We are hiring an entry-level Mason to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures using various types of materials, such as brick, stone, and concrete. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Lay out patterns, forms or foundations according to plans
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using hand or power tools
- Align structures vertically and horizontally using plumb bob, gauge line or level
- Cut or break bricks to fit around windows and doors
- Read blueprints and drawings to determine specifications and materials needed for projects
- Clean up worksites by removing debris and hazardous materials

Requirements:
- No prior experience required but must be willing to learn on the job
- Ability to work with different types of materials including brick, stone, and concrete
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
