Accountant - Salalah, Oman


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Salalah, Oman. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with bookkeeping software.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial transactions and records
- Prepare and analyze financial statements
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and revenue
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies or errors
- Provide guidance on financial matters to management
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks or Sage
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software programs
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA certification is a plus
- Experience working in the Middle East region
- Knowledge of local tax laws
- Fluency in Arabic is preferred but not required

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1300$ per month.

This position is based in Salalah, Oman.
