We are seeking a highly skilled and professional English-speaking interpreter to join our team in Washington, D.C. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between English-speaking individuals and non-English speaking individuals. This role requires fluency in both English and another language, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language from English to another language accurately and efficiently.
- Translate written documents from English to another language.
- Facilitate effective communication between individuals who do not speak the same language.
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
- Understand cultural differences and adapt interpretation accordingly.
- Ensure accuracy and clarity of interpretation by asking for clarification when necessary.
- Keep updated with industry terminology and relevant vocabulary.

Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and another language (preferably Kenyan).
- Proven experience as an interpreter or similar role.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of cultural differences and sensitivity towards diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varying hours and shifts as needed.

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
