Indian Pastry Chef in Nakuru, Kenya
We are searching for a talented Indian Pastry Chef to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts and baked goods for our customers. Your main duties will include preparing and baking a variety of pastries, cakes, breads, and other sweet treats according to traditional Indian recipes.
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef with a focus on Indian cuisine. You must have a strong understanding of the principles of baking and pastry making as well as knowledge of traditional Indian ingredients and flavors. Attention to detail is crucial as you will need to follow recipes accurately and maintain high standards in terms of taste, appearance, and food safety.
As an Indian Pastry Chef, you will also be responsible for managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed. You should have good time management skills to ensure that all orders are completed on time while maintaining quality. Additionally, you must have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff.
This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month. As an English-speaking job, proficiency in English is required. Prior experience working in Kenya or East Africa is preferred but not required.
