Experienced Mason - Contract Position in Lahore, Pakistan


We are seeking an experienced Mason to join our team on a contract basis in Lahore, Pakistan. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures made of brick, concrete blocks, stone and other similar materials. You will work closely with other construction professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine project requirements
- Prepare surfaces for building by laying out reference points and constructing forms or scaffolding
- Mix cement, sand, water and other materials to create mortar or grout according to specifications
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks or stones using various tools such as trowels, levels and hammers
- Cut or shape materials using hand or power tools to fit around obstacles or into desired shapes
- Ensure that structures are plumb, level and square by using levels, plumb bobs and string lines
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones and refilling joints with mortar

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Mason in the construction industry
- Proficient in reading blueprints and following construction plans
- Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and tools
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent time management skills
