Executive Chef for Indian Cuisine in Bansko, Bulgaria

We are currently hiring an Executive Chef for our Indian restaurant located in Bansko, Bulgaria. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and talented chef to lead our kitchen and create delicious and authentic Indian dishes for our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create menus for lunch, dinner, and special events
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety procedures
- Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and plated attractively
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items or improve existing ones
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Manage food cost by controlling waste, portion sizes, and inventory levels

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in an Indian restaurant or hotel kitchen
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, spices, and cooking techniques
- Ability to create traditional Indian dishes as well as modern interpretations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and creativity in presentation of dishes
- Experience with menu planning, cost control, inventory management, and purchasing procedures
Salary:
Salary will be competitive at 1600$, based on experience level.

Location:
This position is located in Bansko, Bulgaria. Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate.

Note:
Applicants must have a valid biometric passport from India. English language proficiency is preferred but not required. Previous work experience is not necessary but will be considered an asset.
