Web Designer



We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to join our team in Lisbon. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing and user-friendly websites. This is a contract position with an urgent need for immediate availability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into website designs
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for client approval
- Ensure website design is responsive on all devices
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in web design

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Proven work experience as a Web Designer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web design tools
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch)
- Understanding of SEO principles
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of UX design principles
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Fluency in Portuguese (both written and spoken)

Salary: $1700/month (negotiable based on experience)
