Job Title: Junior Pastry Chef

As a Junior Pastry Chef, you will work under the guidance and supervision of our experienced pastry chefs to prepare and create delicious pastries, desserts, and baked goods. You will be responsible for maintaining high quality standards in presentation, taste, and consistency of all pastry items. Your duties will include measuring and mixing ingredients, decorating pastries, monitoring oven temperatures, and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a passion for baking to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen environment and be familiar with different pastry techniques such as tempering chocolate, piping cream fillings, and creating decorative designs. A certificate or diploma in culinary arts or pastry making is preferred but not required. This is a full-time position with a salary of $900 per month.
