Contract Moderator for Online Community in Porto, Portugal


We are seeking a motivated and experienced Moderator to join our team and manage our growing online community in Porto, Portugal. As a moderator, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive and engaging environment for our users, enforcing community guidelines, and facilitating discussions and interactions.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor user-generated content and ensure it aligns with community standards
- Respond to user inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
- Foster a sense of community within the platform by encouraging interaction between users
- Collaborate with other team members to develop engaging content and activities for the community
- Identify and report any potential issues or violations of community guidelines
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices for online communities

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a moderator or similar role in an online community
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their features
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally
- Fluent in Portuguese (both written and spoken)
- Familiarity with the city of Porto is preferred but not required

This is a contract position that does not include accommodation. The salary for this role is 1800$ per month.
