Junior Database Administrator

We are hiring a Junior Database Administrator to join our team in Almada. As a Junior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and securing our company's databases, ensuring data integrity and availability. Your role will involve monitoring database performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing data backup and recovery procedures. You will also work closely with the development team to design and implement new databases and assist with database-related projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science or a related field and some knowledge of database management systems such as Oracle or SQL Server. Experience with scripting languages like SQL, Python or Java is preferred but not required. This is an entry-level position, so we welcome fresh graduates or candidates with some experience in IT support or data entry who are eager to learn and develop their skills in database administration. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$ per month. Please note that accommodation is not provided for this role.
