Preservation Architect
As a Preservation Architect in Vianden, you will play a crucial role in preserving and protecting historic buildings and structures. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct assessments, develop preservation plans, and oversee restoration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting on-site assessments to determine the condition of historic structures and identify potential preservation issues.
- Developing detailed preservation plans that outline necessary repairs and maintenance strategies.
- Collaborating with other professionals such as engineers, contractors, and historians to ensure the preservation work meets all requirements.
- Overseeing restoration projects, including managing budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Providing expert advice on preservation techniques and materials.
- Conducting research on historical buildings and structures to inform preservation plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Proven experience in historic preservation work.
- Knowledge of preservation techniques and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough assessments.
- Outstanding project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Previous experience working on historic buildings in Vianden or similar European cities.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
Salary:
The salary for this position starts at 1000$ per month. The final salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
