Concierge Specialist

The Concierge Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests of our luxury hotel in Eldoret. This individual will serve as the main point of contact for guests and will assist with any requests, inquiries, or issues they may have during their stay. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong knowledge of the local area and its attractions. The ability to speak multiple languages is preferred but not required. This is a temporary position with no accommodation provided.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out processes
- Provide information about the hotel's amenities, services, and local attractions
- Make reservations for guests at restaurants, events, and other activities
- Coordinate transportation for guests as needed
- Handle guest requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized lobby area
- Assist with any other duties assigned by the management team
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality industry preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages a plus
- Knowledge of the local area and its attractions
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed
Salary:
This is a temporary position paying 1400$ per month.
