Blast Furnace Operator

We are seeking a skilled Blast Furnace Operator to join our team in Osijek. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining blast furnaces to produce molten iron and steel. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a blast furnace or similar industrial setting, with a strong understanding of safety procedures and mechanical operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor blast furnaces, ensuring they are running at optimal levels
- Adjust furnace controls as needed to maintain proper temperatures and chemical balances
- Inspect equipment for any malfunctions or abnormalities, and report issues to management
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on furnace equipment, such as replacing worn parts or cleaning surfaces
- Monitor and record data related to furnace performance, including temperature readings and production levels
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of yourself and your colleagues

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a blast furnace or other industrial setting is preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to industrial work environments
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in relevant fields is a plus
