Glass Installation Technician

As a Glass Installation Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various glass products. You will work in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial properties. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting glass to fit specific spaces, installing glass windows and doors, and repairing any damaged or broken glass. You will also be responsible for ensuring the safety of all installations and following all safety protocols.

To excel in this role, you should have a high level of attention to detail and possess excellent hand-eye coordination. Previous experience as a Glazier or in a similar role is preferred. You must also have experience working with various types of glass, such as tempered, laminated, and insulated. Knowledge of different cutting techniques and tools is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass to fit specific spaces
- Install glass windows, doors, and other products in residential and commercial properties
- Repair damaged or broken glass
- Ensure the safety of all installations
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents
- Work with different types of glass, including tempered, laminated, and insulated
- Use various cutting techniques and tools to achieve accurate measurements

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as a Glazier or in a similar role
- Experience working with different types of glass (tempered, laminated, insulated)
- Knowledge of various cutting techniques and tools
- Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work in various settings (residential/commercial)
