Heavy Equipment Operator
City: Faro, Portugal


The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and backhoes. This position requires a highly skilled individual with experience in equipment operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform pre-operational checks on all equipment before use
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while operating equipment
- Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and serviced
- Complete daily reports on equipment usage and maintenance
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator
- Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and backhoes
- Knowledge of safety procedures for operating heavy equipment
- Proficient in performing routine maintenance on equipment
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching. Must also have good hand-eye coordination.

Working Conditions:
This position will primarily be outdoors in various weather conditions. Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends if necessary. Must also be able to travel between job sites as required.

Salary:
Salary will be based on experience level. Starting salary is $1000 per month.
