Equipment Operator



We are currently seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team in Almada. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders, to move materials and perform construction tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment according to safety guidelines and company policies
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Transport materials to and from job sites
- Load and unload materials using heavy equipment
- Excavate and grade land using bulldozers and other equipment
- Follow blueprints and instructions from supervisors
- Communicate with team members to ensure efficient work flow
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment (bulldozers, excavators, loaders)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and instructions
- Knowledge of safety guidelines for operating heavy equipment
- Physical stamina to work in outdoor environments for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good communication skills

Preferred:
- Experience in construction or related field
- Certification or training in operating heavy equipment

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Almada, Portugal
