Excavator Operator

As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining excavators to complete various construction and excavation projects in and around Khanpur. Your main duties will include operating excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and other designated areas, as well as loading and unloading materials. You will also be responsible for performing regular maintenance on the excavators to ensure optimal functioning. The ideal candidate will have experience operating excavators and a valid driver's license. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are also essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

- Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and other designated areas as per project requirements.
- Load and unload materials using the excavator.
- Perform regular maintenance on the excavator including greasing, oiling, fueling, etc.
- Inspect equipment before use to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while operating the excavator.
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth project execution.
- Keep track of materials used and report any shortages or damages.
- Maintain a clean work area at all times.

Requirements:

- Proven experience operating excavators in a construction or excavation setting.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to read project plans and follow instructions accurately.
- Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of local language is a plus).
- Attention to detail with the ability to identify potential issues or hazards.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
