Job Title: Back-End Developer - Lisbon, Portugal


We are seeking a highly skilled Back-End Developer to join our fast-growing team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient and reliable server-side code to support our web applications. You will work closely with the front-end development team to ensure a seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of back-end technologies and experience working with databases and web servers. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable server-side code
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement data storage solutions using databases such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong understanding of back-end languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and web servers (Apache or NGINX)
- Familiarity with front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus)
