Back-End Developer

As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for the technical implementation and maintenance of our company's web applications. Your main focus will be on developing and implementing server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our web applications. You will work closely with our Front-End Developers and UI/UX Designers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Your role will also involve debugging and troubleshooting technical issues, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and develop new features for our web applications. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for creating efficient and scalable solutions. This is a full-time position based in Lisbon, with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of server-side programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of web development frameworks like Spring Boot or Django
- Understanding of code versioning tools like Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve web applications
- Collaborate with Front-End Developers and UI/UX Designers to ensure the technical feasibility of designs
and optimize user experience
- Debug technical issues reported by users or team members
- Troubleshoot performance issues and implement solutions to ensure high availability
and scalability
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan new features and integrations
for our web applications
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development
- Continuously improve development processes and best practices
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members
