The role of Gardener at our company is a physically demanding yet rewarding position. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and caring for the gardens and outdoor spaces of our clients in Funchal. This includes planting, watering, pruning, and fertilizing plants, as well as mowing lawns and maintaining garden equipment.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in gardening or landscaping, preferably in a professional setting. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of different types of plants and flowers, as well as basic understanding of pest control and weed management. Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions is essential for this position.

As a Gardener, you will also need to possess good time management skills and attention to detail in order to ensure that gardens are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing. Some heavy lifting may be required, so suitable for men is preferred.

In addition to gardening tasks, you may also be responsible for maintaining outdoor structures such as fences and patios. Basic carpentry skills would be an asset for this aspect of the role.
