Job Title: Merchandiser

Our company, located in Khasab, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to work independently. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing the product design and development process, as well as overseeing the distribution of products to various retail locations. This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with designers and suppliers to develop new products
- Manage the entire product development process from concept to delivery
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to ensure our products are competitive
- Coordinate with retail partners to ensure timely delivery of products
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking as needed
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop effective product placement strategies
- Attend trade shows and conferences to stay updated on industry trends and network with potential partners

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in merchandising or product development
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of supply chain management
- Must be able to work independently

Salary: $900 per month

Location: Khasab, Oman

Preference: Canadian nationals or candidates with own visa
