Contract Interpreter - Lisbon, Portugal


We are in need of a skilled interpreter to join our team on a contract basis in Lisbon, Portugal. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services for various clients and events. Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services in person or via phone/video calls
- Accurately convey messages between parties in different languages
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Familiarize yourself with industry-specific terminology and jargon
- Manage and prioritize multiple assignments to meet deadlines
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of translations
- Collaborate with other interpreters as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an interpreter (formal training or certification is a plus)
- Fluency in at least two languages (English and Portuguese are preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to different situations
- Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Professionalism, discretion, and respect for confidentiality
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1300 per month.
