Barista - Specialty Coffee Shop (Muscat)


A popular specialty coffee shop in Muscat is seeking a skilled and passionate Barista to join our team. We are looking for candidates who are experienced in making a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, and lattes. As a Barista, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality coffee is served to our customers with exceptional customer service. This position is open to Canadians, Filipinos, or any English-speaking individuals with their own visa.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve hot and cold coffee beverages according to customer orders
- Ensure quality and consistency of all drinks served
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments using the POS system
- Keep track of inventory and notify management when supplies need to be restocked
- Follow health and safety guidelines while handling food and beverage items

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree preferred)
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is required
- In-depth knowledge of different coffee beans, brewing methods, and latte art techniques
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must have own visa for employment in Oman
- Open to Canadians, Filipinos, or any English-speaking individuals

Salary:
Starting salary of 1100$ per month with potential for growth based on performance.
