Blast Furnace Operator


We are a steel manufacturing company based in Pula, seeking a skilled Blast Furnace Operator to join our team. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the blast furnace equipment, ensuring safe and efficient production of molten iron.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the blast furnace equipment, including charging, tapping, and monitoring temperatures
- Inspect equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Monitor chemical levels and make adjustments as needed
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production
- Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the blast furnace
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a blast furnace is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime as needed
- Must be fluent in English with good communication skills
