Typesetter for Contract Position in Braga, Portugal


We are currently hiring a skilled typesetter for a contract position in Braga, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text and images for various print and digital materials such as books, magazines, and websites. The ideal candidate will have experience in typesetting and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Set and arrange text and images according to design specifications
- Ensure text is correctly formatted, spaced, and aligned
- Adjust font sizes and styles as needed
- Check for spelling errors and make necessary corrections
- Collaborate with designers and editors to ensure overall layout is visually appealing
- Prepare files for printing or digital publishing
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in typesetting
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other design software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of printing processes and file preparation for print is preferred
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is 1600$ per month.
