Computer Systems Analyst

We are in need of a highly skilled and experienced Computer Systems Analyst to join our growing team in Akron, Kenya. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing our computer systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. You will also work closely with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide support and guidance on system upgrades and implementations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff. This is a part-time position with no accommodation provided, but we offer free visa and ticket for Kenyan nationals. Salary for this role is $1400 per month.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Computer Systems Analyst or similar role
- Strong understanding of computer systems, hardware, software, networks, and databases
- Proven experience in system analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python is a plus

Responsibilities:
- Analyze current computer systems and processes to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide recommendations for system upgrades or implementations
- Develop detailed project plans including timelines, resources needed, and potential risks
- Implement new systems or enhancements according to project plans while ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Monitor systems performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Train staff on new systems or updates as needed
- Keep up-to-date with new technology trends and advancements
- Work closely with vendors or external consultants when necessary
- Continuously evaluate systems to identify opportunities for improvement and make necessary adjustments
