Architectural Designer



The Architectural Designer will be responsible for designing and creating architectural plans and drawings for various projects in Porto. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles and be able to effectively communicate their ideas to clients and team members. They should also possess excellent technical skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software. This is a contract position with accommodation and visa sponsorship provided. The salary for this role is $1600 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their project requirements
- Create detailed architectural plans and drawings using AutoCAD
- Develop 3D models and renderings to effectively communicate design concepts
- Conduct site visits and surveys as needed
- Work closely with project team members, including engineers and contractors
- Ensure all designs comply with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations
- Attend client meetings to present designs and gather feedback
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in architectural design
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on residential or commercial projects in Porto or Portugal
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles
- Fluency in Portuguese
