We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As an experienced carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$, and preference will be given to candidates with a biometric passport.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and materials needed
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to the design plans
- Cut, shape, and smooth materials using hand or power tools such as saws, chisels, planes, sanders, or routers
- Join materials together using nails, screws, staples or adhesives
- Install structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings etc.
- Inspect work pieces for defects and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Skilled in using hand and power tools
- Good understanding of wood properties and other building materials
- Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing or lifting heavy objects
- Attention to detail with good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Biometric passport preferred
