Job Title: Part-Time Carpenter in Almada

We are a construction company based in Almada and we are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. This position does not include accommodation and is open to all nationalities.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, squares, or marking gauges
- Install structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim or hardware
- Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools and power tools
- Read blueprints and building plans to determine materials needed
- Follow safety procedures and regulations while handling tools and equipment
- Work collaboratively with other members of the team to complete projects efficiently

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to handle demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials or working in confined spaces

Salary: 1600$ per month (based on hourly rate)
Location: Almada (must be able to commute within the city)
Working hours: Part-time (20 hours per week)
