Office Manager - Funchal, Portugal
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Office Manager to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our office and ensuring smooth functioning of all administrative tasks. This is a contract position with a starting salary of 1200$.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage office supplies and equipment inventory
- Coordinate and schedule meetings and appointments
- Maintain updated records of invoices, payments, and expenses
- Assist with basic accounting tasks such as data entry and reconciling accounts
- Handle employee onboarding and offboarding procedures
- Support HR functions such as updating employee records and managing leave requests
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Liaise with external partners and vendors as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Previous experience in an administrative or office management role is a plus but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles is a plus
