Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Los Angeles, USA)



We are a high-end restaurant in Los Angeles seeking an experienced Executive Chef with expertise in Indian cuisine. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of $1400 per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain menus featuring authentic Indian dishes
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure quality and consistency in dishes
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- In-depth knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to create new dishes while also maintaining the authenticity of traditional recipes
- Proven track record of managing and training kitchen staff to produce high-quality dishes
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage inventory and ordering supplies effectively
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations for food handling and preparation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution
- Experience working in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Familiarity with local food suppliers for authentic Indian ingredients
- Understanding of budgeting and cost control measures for the kitchen
