Senior Executive Chef



Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at our prestigious restaurant in Los Angeles. As the Senior Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and managing staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative and innovative menus that reflect our restaurant's concept and meet customer expectations
- Manage the kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure high quality of food preparation by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in the kitchen
- Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions
- Monitor food costs and maintain budgetary guidelines
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Extensive knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (proficiency in other languages is a plus)
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Education:
A degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred but not required.

Compensation:
The salary for this position is $1200 per week. Additional benefits may be offered based on experience.

Location:
This position is located in Los Angeles, California. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
