Interpreter (Arabic/Portuguese) - Funchal, Madeira

As an interpreter for our company in Funchal, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between Arabic-speaking and Portuguese-speaking individuals. Your main duties will include providing accurate interpretation of verbal conversations, written documents, and cultural nuances. You must be fluent in both Arabic and Portuguese, with excellent listening and speaking skills. Additionally, you must have a strong understanding of both cultures and be able to convey messages accurately in a culturally appropriate manner.

Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate interpretation of verbal conversations between Arabic and Portuguese speakers
- Translate written documents from Arabic to Portuguese and vice versa
- Ensure cultural nuances are accurately conveyed during interpretation
- Handle sensitive or confidential information with professionalism
- Assist with any necessary paperwork or administrative tasks related to interpretation services

Requirements:
- Fluency in both Arabic and Portuguese (written and spoken)
- Excellent listening and speaking skills
- Strong understanding of both Arabic and Portuguese cultures
- Ability to maintain neutrality and professionalism in all situations
- Previous experience as an interpreter is preferred but not required

Salary: $1100 per month (full-time)
Accommodation: Company-provided accommodation may be available for the right candidate.
