English Teacher


We are in need of a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team in Funchal. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students, helping them improve their language skills and preparing them for exams. Your main responsibilities will include planning and delivering lessons, assessing students' progress, providing feedback and support, as well as collaborating with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English as a second language, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to different teaching methods based on students' needs. You should also have a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field, as well as relevant teaching experience.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of students
- Assess students' progress and provide feedback on their performance
- Develop individualized learning plans based on students' strengths and weaknesses
- Create a positive learning environment that promotes student participation
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies
- Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, grades, and progress
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Relevant teaching experience preferred
- Strong understanding of second language acquisition principles
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Passion for teaching and helping students achieve their full potential

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month. In addition, we provide accommodation options for our employees.

Location:
This position is located in Funchal, Portugal. While Portuguese nationality is not required, candidates should be legally able to work in Portugal.

Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour work week. Working hours may vary depending on class schedules and extracurricular activities.
