Job Title: Contract Construction Manager - Porto, Portugal


We are in need of a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team in Porto, Portugal on a contract basis. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to high quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans and schedules, and manage resources accordingly
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Monitor progress and ensure adherence to project timelines and budget
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and address any issues that arise
- Review contracts and negotiate with vendors for materials and services
- Provide regular updates on project status to senior management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques and materials
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Proven leadership skills
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities
